A leading Multidiscipline Consultancy are seeking a Graduate Building Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Manchester, covering the North region.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
- Project Involvement: Participate in projects across different sectors, performing a range of building surveying duties. Assist with project management and contract administration, condition and measured surveys, and the design and implementation of small to medium-sized projects.
- Client Relations: Maintain and develop client relationships, ensuring high standards of service delivery with support from senior colleagues.
- Industry Engagement: Stay updated with industry developments and best practices. Conduct defect analysis, undertake building surveys, and produce professional reports and specifications.
- Quality and Safety: Understand and apply principles of quality, safety, and environmental management within projects. Liaise with senior colleagues to build a profitable service and a high-performing team environment.

Skills and Experience:
- Educational Background: BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying or a similar RICS-accredited degree. Working towards full membership of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS, MCIOB, or similar).
- Surveying Experience: Demonstrate good all-round surveying experience in a client-facing role. Experience in project design and delivery, including refurbishment and extension projects up to £250k capex.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is advantageous. Familiarity with Health and Safety requirements, including CDM 2015 & BSA 2023, and standard forms of building contracts such as JCT and NEC.
- Sector Experience: Desirable experience in sectors such as education, local authorities, healthcare, central government, and infrastructure projects.

This role is perfect for a Graduate/Assistant Building Surveyor with 1-2 years post-qualification experience, ready to take the next step in their career within a supportive and innovative environment.

Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
