Mattinson Partnership has been instructed to recruit an experienced Building Surveyor on behalf of one of our client-side organisations, based in the heart of the Big Smoke.

This is an initial 3-month contract with an immediate requirement for someone who can hit the ground running and provide a safe, experienced pair of hands across a varied property portfolio.

The Role

Working client-side, you'll be responsible for managing a diverse range of projects across a predominantly commercial and industrial property portfolio, with a small amount of residential and heritage work.

This is a hands-on role where you'll oversee multiple projects simultaneously, liaise with consultants and contractors, and ensure projects are delivered effectively from inception through to completion.

What They're Looking For

  • Strong building surveying experience, ideally within a client-side or consultancy environment, although candidates from the public sector will also be considered.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience across commercial and industrial property, with exposure to residential or heritage assets being advantageous.
  • A calm, pragmatic approach and the confidence to work autonomously.
  • A steady pair of hands-reliable, experienced, and able to add value from day one.
  • MRICS is not essential; experience and the right attitude are more important.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established client-side team on an initial 3-month contract, working across a varied property portfolio, with the potential for the assignment to be extended.

What's Next?

If you're available at short notice and have the experience to make an immediate impact, I'd be keen to speak with you.
