Opportunity:

A local authority based in East London are looking for a Senior and a Principal Planning Officer to join their development team. Due to a range of exciting projects in the area they need to expand. This role is ideally suited for someone with some UK experience in either the private or public sector, and wants to work in a dynamic team on interesting projects in East London. This will be a 3 month rolling contract, with the intention for extending over a significant period of time.

Role:

The role, based in the development team but working closely with strategic, policy and enforcement planners, will be delivering on major projects across the local authority. There is a large caseload of work and interesting sites to work on, and while support will be provided you will be expected to pick it up quickly. Therefore it suits someone with a good amount post qualification experience as well as expertise delivering on projects in the UK. The local authority has a wide range of interesting developments and will help you take your career to the next level, including mentoring junior members of staff.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Drivers licence.
  • Post qualification experience in the UK.
  • Degree in town planning.
  • Can commute to East London
