MP are tasked once again with supporting this established, award-winning, global multi-disciplinary practice for their Avon regional office for the Interior Design profession in Bristol is involved in a variety of exciting and challenging projects.
We're looking for a creative Senior Interior Designer to join the Bristol studio and assist in the development and growth of their interior design offer whereby you'd engage with, and present to clients and stakeholders and be part of a 60+ strong Bristol studio and also the wider interior design teams across the UK, helping drive direction in a new wave of challenging, high profile projects.
Ultimately you'll aspire to create great places and are keen to progress your career within a major design practice.

You'll possess exceptional design skills, and strong experience gained through a minimum 5 years post degree working in one or more of the commercial, retail, health, and education sectors with successful design firms.
You will have a track record in bidding and work winning as well as the briefing and stakeholder liaison process, concept design development, technical package production, and implementation through to on-site experience and post-completion review.
You will have an excellent working knowledge of software used for presentation and delivery of your design ideas
We place great value on teamwork and collaboration, so you will need to demonstrate a strong team working ethos and have excellent communication skills.

Our Senior Consultant Freddie enthusiastically attends the annual Planning Convention, and we host several events throughout the year to show our support, including drinks networking and a literal pub quiz. We also keep in close contact with our friends down under, at the Planning Institute Australia and New Zealand Planning Institute. One of our clients, LandSec, are the clever people behind Girls Can Do It Too, an initiative designed to encourage girls to consider a career in construction. Currently, only 11% of the construction workforce are female, and LandSec are attempting to increase this number by providing education and engagement projects and workshops for girls aged 11-13. Featuring workshops on demolition and tower building, as well as challenging the girls to design a planning project of their own (with a focus on budgeting and environmental considerations), LandSec have proven their dedication to addressing the need for diversity in this very male dominated industry. Ruth assists the project by sharing her fascinating insights into the industry and is even on the project judging panel!
