Join a global leader in built environment consultancy as part of a planned expansion project to further develop their existing Fire Engineering team over the coming 6 months.

Our client is looking for experienced senior and principal level fire engineers who can work from a number of local offices or from a home base to deliver complex engineering projects. This role would also be suitable to qualified fire engineers living abroad or those who have been trained overseas and want to work on UK projects.

The role will involve leading fire engineering project teams ensuring quality and service commitments are met, and appointments will be interesting and varied. In addition tasks may include research and testing, technical reviews of fire strategies from other organisations, and some international work. You will be supported by some of the best fire safety professionals in the industry and exposed to state-of-the-art methods in fire engineering.

The successful candidate will have some level of involvement or recognition with a professional body, or be working towards this. The expectation is that a senior or principal fire engineer will be fully chartered or working towards along with being MIFireE.

Continual professional development is key within the business, and the team are encouraged to develop skills and interests in support of personal and team goals, with every engineer being allocated a healthy CPD budget each year. The role will attract a highly competitive salary, dependent on experience, with generous holiday entitlement and a good working environment. In addition, there is a discretionary profit share scheme.

London Wildlife Trust.

We are proud partners of The London Wildlife Trust, a charity dedicated to protecting the wildlife and wild spaces of London by driving environmental projects throughout the city. Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
