Due to continued growth and increase in workload, our client, a major international property management company are looking for a Senior EIA consultant to join their growing team.

You will be joining the Environmental Planning & Assessment team (EP&A) whose main service offering is EIA consultancy, with a range of more unique services including ES Reviews, Socio-Economic Impact Assessment and Health Impact Assessment. The team's success has been built on helping clients deliver sustainable, viable and implementable schemes on complex sites. This is a great opportunity to join a small, dynamic team with ambitions for continued organic growth.


As a Senior EIA Consultant you will be responsible for EIA delivery across a range of projects, including major urban regeneration schemes, mixed use, residential and marine projects nationwide. You will be assisting with the management of forecasting and invoicing, fee proposals and developing new business, alongside EIA project coordination, editing environmental statements and liaising with clients. There is also an opportunity to specialise on the socio value piece.

You will be joining a sociable team, with company events such as pub quiz, summer parties and regular sport events. The company also offers a generous salary and benefits package. Progression is very tangible, with clear frameworks and competencies set out at the outset, so the role would suit an ambitious consultant who is looking to develop their career within the organisation.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in environmental science or a related subject
  • A minimum of 6-8 years EIA consultancy experience; Detailed knowledge of the EIA process and UK EIA Regulations, as well as the planning system
  • Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrable track record of developing client relationships
  • Demonstrable track record in delivering proportionate EIA on complex sites across the UK
  • Membership of a relevant professional body, such as IEMA. Ideally, full membership of IEMA and chartered environmentalist status

London Wildlife Trust.

Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
