The purpose of this role is to implement a lively events programme which animate the spaces and engage the community. They are looking for someone to be on site 5 days a week to really get the programme up and running.

You will oversee customer brand touchpoints and ensure all marketing is consistent across all channels, including digital and social media, PR, and on-site communications. You will also be responsible for delivering events-based activities and to ensure compliance with H&S requirements, with safe set up and break down of all activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the development and implementation of an exciting and dynamic events and enlivenment strategy, focusing on year-round activities on site and driving enhanced levels of occupier engagement both physically and digitally.
  • Ensure you are up to date with trends to put on relevant, exciting and high-end events
  • Propose budgets, agency support and resource needed to deliver the plans to the client and manage the plan to the agreed budget / resource.
  • Provide monthly reports to senior management and the client on all Place activity Offer insights and suggestions on innovations and potential alterations to plan based on results.
  • Implement a programme of customer (occupier) engagement that runs year-round, including opportunities to build insight and implement a programme of continual development.
  • Oversee to the annual occupier engagement survey programme led by central team and encourage adoption and completion of the survey amongst occupiers.

You will need:

  • Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative and customer focused.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, a proven track record in managing change, extensive experience in managing budgets, good strategic vision and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in the supervision of service partners.
  • Excellent communications skills to develop and maintain strong relationships with all key stakeholders
  • Both proactive and reactive with occupier requests and deliver a service tailored around their needs
  • Good time management skills able to respond to client/contract deadlines.
  • Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics (e.g. repeat attendance at events) and customer satisfaction.
  • A good team player who thrives in a fast-moving working environment.
  • Copywriting across different media: the ability to write newsletters, communicate with all stakeholders and be able to use systems and social media.
  • Experience of direct liaison with customers, clients, local authorities and other stakeholders.

London Wildlife Trust.

One of our clients, LandSec, are the clever people behind Girls Can Do It Too, an initiative designed to encourage girls to consider a career in construction. Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
