A leading energy consultancy are looking for an experienced Client Relationship Manager to play a leading role in their account management team. The role would suit an experienced account manager with specific experience in the energy sector, who is looking for team leader position.

About you:

You will be an account manager with proven experience managing commercial relationships within the energy sector. You will have a strong track record of securing renewals with excellent account retention, and the ability to maximise services within the account. You will be comfortable playing a lead role, managing the account management team.

About the role:

You will be responsible for the management of the Account Management team, leading on their training and development. You will monitor the performance of the team, developing KPIs and taking responsibility for ensuring that targets and met and exceeded. You will foster strong relationships with clients, and be able to resolve contract and commercial disputes when necessary.

Key skills and experience:

  • Strong understanding of the energy industry
  • Proven experienced in account management, ideally with experience managing a team of account managers
  • Ability to identify and capitalise on commercial opportunities
  • Experience resolving customer disputes
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills

Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
