A multi-disciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking to expand its sustainability team. Based in London or Winchester, this company has a diverse project portfolio which spans across commercial; education; residential; industrial; logistic; automotive and healthcare sectors.

This opportunity would suit an ambitious individual where you will be supported to develop your skills and progress within your career.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop sustainability and energy strategies to clients within the private and public sectors, including, not limited to, Net Zero Carbon, building certification and occupant wellbeing.
  • Conduct measurements of building performance through building physics modelling.
  • Develop, implement and oversee project proposals both with clients and within your team.
  • Seek novel business openings through liaising with new and existing clients.
  • Draft technical reports.

The Ideal Candidate has:

  • 2 years previous experience.
  • Net Zero Carbon Strategy Experience.
  • A history of building energy modelling through IES.
  • Experience with Building regulations compliance modelling E.g., EPC and Part L.
  • Confidence when communicating with clients attained through clear communication abilities, presented both verbally and through writing ability.

London Wildlife Trust.

We are proud partners of The London Wildlife Trust, a charity dedicated to protecting the wildlife and wild spaces of London by driving environmental projects throughout the city. The RTPI represents planning professionals in the UK and Ireland and aims to encourage the development of vibrant and prosperous places and communities. Our Senior Consultant Freddie enthusiastically attends the annual Planning Convention, and we host several events throughout the year to show our support, including drinks networking and a literal pub quiz. We also keep in close contact with our friends down under, at the Planning Institute Australia and New Zealand Planning Institute. Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
