An SME consultancy are looking for a Principal / Associate Landscape Architect to join their team in Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

This consultancy are a small multidisciplinary who specialise in providing high quality work across the architecture, planning, urban design / masterplanning and landscape architecture. A real family friendly company, the organisation are known for promoting a very relaxed work atmosphere (including flexible working hours).They pride themselves for working with plenty of fun and provide lots of support, especially if you'd be working in a new region or sector. Couple with this the directors leading a driven team that's hungry for further success, and as such, the successful applicant will be joining a consultancy with ambitious targets for growth in place for the next 18 months.

The role is well suited to an experienced Principal Landscape Architect, or Associate, looking to work for a great company and across a wide variety of projects. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you'll deliver for a range of clients on developments around the UK, taking landscape design from concept through to completion on site. Working closely with the other landscape architects, your designs will play a pivotal part in major developments around the country.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Min 4 years' post degree
  • CML, relevant landscape degree
  • Experience working on UK landscape projects
  • Commercial understand of project delivery
  • Car owner, full driving license

Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
