As the new Associate Environmental Consultant, you'll be taking a lead on supporting company clientele based largely in the water and energy sectors.

Role Responsibilities:

Your new responsibilities will be to undertake a key leadership role for the multidisciplinary teams that you shall oversee. These teams will handle duties such as Environmental Impact Assessments, Environmental Management and options appraisals. You will be responsible for properly moderating and reviewing these works, ensuring they are produced to the highest quality in conjunction with the company policy. Alongside report writing, you will also be responsible for ensuring desired outcomes for engineering projects, making sure the client's needs and wants are met in their entirety regarding the desired environmental outcomes. Lastly, you must be able to handle a client facing role, both in dealing with existing clientele as well as winning and developing new relationships to generate further business for the company. Continued practical development will allow you to maintain an up-to-date skillset and improve your ability to adapt and overcome new challenges.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to be an individual who is committed to achieving excellence and driving personal growth through continuous training, as well as driving professional growth in other members of your teams. You will need to be a confident individual, able to handle clients in a calm, professional manner whilst handling their project requirements. This role would be best suited to an individual with experience working/leading on large infrastructural developments, allowing them to have developed a strong working knowledge of standard EIA practices and application of their environmental expertise. You will need to be a chartered member of a relevant professional body e.g. CIEEM and have plenty of proven experience line managing teams, and carrying out standard environmental surveys/reports.

Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
