My client is a leading global Consultancy Firm in Central London who are seeking an aspiring Intermediate Building Surveyor to join their thriving Building Consultancy team based in London. The candidate will be specialising in all aspects of Building Surveying duties, for high profile, exciting projects in and around the London area.

The candidate will be conducting all aspects of Surveying professional services for private individuals, high street banks, local/national businesses, property developers, estate agents and legal professionals.

The in-house team of professionals assist clients on a daily basis on a diverse range of property related issues such as Boundary Disputes, Party Walls, Rights of Light, Dilapidiations, Project & Property Management matters Building Regulations and Arbitration. Additionally we provide expert witness representation/advisory services.

As a leading property firm, my client is able to provide you with the highest level of training, having a proven track record of bringing Surveyors through their APC, and have been able to provide the perfect platform for Junior Surveyors to go from strength to strength in their careers.

Duties include assisting with the following services:

  • Party Wall
  • Dilapidations
  • Building Surveys
  • Homebuyers surveys
  • Project monitoring
  • Project management
  • Schedule of conditions
  • License to Alters
  • Expert witness
  • Maintaining strong relationships with our existing clients and making sure all expectations are met
  • Liaising with new clients to bring on new work to assist with the growth of the company
  • Provide accurate and appropriately priced quotes to new and existing clients within the required timescales.
  • Be flexible and keen to work with and support our growing team
  • Tendering for and engaging with contractors

Qualifications:

  • It is desirable that you have started your APC studies
  • Being up to date on building regulations and understanding the reasons behind market fluctuations
  • Working experience in a consultancy environment is advantageous

Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
