We are on the lookout for a proative arb consultant to join a young team within a boutique environmental consultancy based in Northamptonshire. You'll join a multidisciplinary team of foresters, ecologists and landscape architects, working with the business unit manager to deliver arb projects nationwide.

This role provides the opportunity to work with clients including large rural estates, universities, property developers, local councils and industrial clients. The right candidate will have experience within tree protection for developers and highways projects.

What will you be doing?

As an Arb Consultant you key responsibilities will include;

  • Varied Project work and you'll find yourself out in the field assisting with BS5837 Tree Quality Surveys and the preparation of Arboricultural Impact Assessments / Arboricultural Method Statements.
  • You'll use AutoCAD to provide graphics support and work with other team members to complete reports.

What do you need?

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of working within the arb industry, with good knowledge of survey technics, including demonstrable experience of BS5837 and planning policy to help give clients the best possible advice throughout the planning process. You will also hold a degree in an arb related subject (or equivalent experience).

Urban Land Institute.

In partnership with Urban Land Institute we are able to play an imperative role in creating a larger and more diverse pool of candidates within the planning & property professions. Working in schools we take part in the Urban Plan Educational workshops programme, which has now reached more than 2,500 pupils in 100 schools since its launch. Alongside more than 200 industry volunteers engaged across the country, we provide invaluable industry & careers advice to students while guiding them through their workshops and helping judge their presentations.
