This Environmental Planning role will see you helping to secure and implement planning permissions for projects across sectors including; residential, mixed-use and infrastructure developments. Your workload will be varied in support of integrated environmental services including EIA, SEA and Sustainability Appraisal.
You will work closely with a range of clients, including blue-chip organisations, property developers and local authorities.
You’ll be joining a close-knit team of 50, working with colleagues across a variety of disciplines, from Air quality, Acoustics, Landscape, Ecology and Town Planning, providing clients with high quality outputs.
The nature of the business means your workload will be varied and you’ll work with colleagues across multidisciplinary teams. Typically you will have the opportunity to contribute to the following work streams;
- Environmental Impact Assessment
- Strategic Environmental Assessment
- Sustainability Appraisal
- Health Impact Assessment
- Lighting Assessment
- You’ll be able to demonstrate some consultancy experience in EIA and Environmental assessment and have a broad understanding of environmental issues and disciplines.
- Your knowledge of the planning system and development management procedures will be sound and by this stage in your career you’ll be confident engaging with clients.
