Our client is looking to expand their environmental planning team on all fronts, across the UK, whether you’re a Consultant grade based in Exeter or a Principal grade in Manchester, they’re keen to speak to you. They are an award winning environmental and engineering consultancy with a large international presence, who are currently working on some of the most well-renowned projects across the country.

They are looking for Environmental Planners and EIA Consultants at Consultant, Senior and Principal grade to join the team in a range of locations; Birmingham, Surrey, Cambridge, Manchester, Exeter, Warrington, Cardiff and more.

Role & Company:

The bulk of your work will comprise of coordinating EIA’s an DCO’s, as well as delivering environmental statements for a range of clients in the private and public sectors. You will also be responsible for delivering successful outcomes for an exciting portfolio of clients by helping them manage their environmental planning risks. At a senior level you will also be managing DCO submissions and/or impact assessments. You will need to be involved in establishing strong relationships within a multi-disciplinary/multi-national team, collaboratively working together for beneficial outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

To be considered for this role, our client is looking for you to have the following:

  • BSc and MSc in a relevant environmental discipline
  • Experience working in a professional environmental consultancy focused in EIA & DCO
  • Detailed knowledge of UK environmental legislation and planning policy
  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and building good working client and contractor relationships
  • Full UK drivers licence
