POSITION: Consultant/Senior Engineer - Structures

Our client is currently recruiting a Consultant/Senior Engineer (structures) to join their team delivering highways structures services to a variety of clients. Projects will mainly focus around b ridge structures and the ideal candidate will have bridge maintenance, repair and assessment experience.

The successful candidate responsibilities will be:

• To deliver highways structures services to acceptable quality standards and financial targets.
• Provide technical input, guidance and support
• Assist with the planning and execution of highways structures design and inspection work, including site investigation, general/principal/special inspections, feasibility studies, options studies, preliminary design, site investigation and detailed design

Potential candidates are expected to meet the following criteria:

• Preferably in possession of Honours degree in civil/structural engineering.
• Either MICE qualified (or working towards) or similar
• High level of competency in design/construction supervision/maintenance/inspection of highway structures
• Competent in relevant health and safety requirements, including CDM Regulations
• Competent in Quality Management
