Job title: Senior Civil/Structural engineer

Job Summary:
The Client is an integrated, multi-disciplinary consultancy, offering a broad range of engineering, transport, environmental services, planning, sustainable development, economics, regeneration and infrastructure services.

The client is seeking a high calibre Senior Engineer to join their well regarded civil structures division. The successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide variety of high profile projects.

Qualifications / Experience:
The successful candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate qualification and experience in a number of the following areas;

• Experience in the design of buried heavy civil structures
• Experience in the design of bridges and highway structures
• Experience in the use of ground modelling software such as PLAXIS or similar would be an advantage
• Working knowledge of Eurocodes
• Experience in the use of structural analysis and design software
• Experience in the use of embedded wall analysis software such as WALLAP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to generate and technically review reports
• Educated to degree level or equivalent in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Must be chartered with ICE or IStuctE
• Ability to work to deadlines, within budget and to programme, to control costs and to effectively manage resources and change control
• Knowledge of the TfL and Network Rail approvals procedures would be an advantage
