POSITION: Senior Ecologist

SALARY: £25k-£28k
LOCATION: Cirencester

Our client is a small but growing environmental consultancy based in Gloucestershire. Due to a number of recent contracts, they are looking to appoint a Senior Ecologist.

You will need to possess a Bat and Great Crested Newt licence and be able to undertake Phase 1 ecology surveys independently. You should also have working knowledge of the UK Planning System, including Planning Policy Statements, and ecological legislation. This role requires individuals who can demonstrate commercial awareness and have experience of dealing with clients and managing project budgets. Report writing is also crucial and you should be technically competent and in producing ecology reports and ideally environmental statement chapters.

You can expect a broad range of projects and a high level of responsibility with opportunities to progress quickly within the organisation.
