POSITION: Carbon Management Consultant

Our client is one of the Country’s leading environmental consultancies. Due to continued expansion, they are looking to appoint an experienced Energy Auditor who will work as part of the Carbon Management team. Working within the area of Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s), Data Management and Carbon Foot printing, this post does require an accredited EPC assessor.
The role will involve undertaking EPC’s in full from survey to sign off as well as working with the data management team in a variety of ways, which shall include utility invoice queries, client account management and the manipulation of data for client reporting.

You will also support the operation of the Carbon Management team in a variety of areas on an as required basis. This may include data manipulation for Carbon Reduction Commitment assessments, energy surveys and carbon foot printing.

Skills
•Qualified EPC assessor, able to use iSBEM programme.
•Competent IT skills and be able to use MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook.
•High degree of accuracy in the inputting of data into spreadsheets.
•An aptitude and interest in the built environment.
•Ability to measure and record data relating to buildings in an ordered fashion.
•Numerically competent.
•Strong ability to clearly communicate both orally and in writing at all levels.
•Good report writing skills.

Qualifications
•First degree in an electrical or mechanical engineering discipline or energy engineering related.
•Masters in Environmental Management would be advantageous, but not essential.
•Sound mathematical background and good statistical knowledge.
•Registered Energy Performance Certificate Assessor.
•A full driving licence.

Location
•Based in London.
