Senior / Principal Air Quality Consultant; London

Our client is a global force in multi-disciplinary engineering providing a broad range of advisory and design services with particular specialisations in infrastructure, property and environmental solutions.
With over 4,000 people across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, they offer clients the benefit of global expertise coupled with local knowledge.

The air quality team forms part of the environmental solutions business that includes; noise, EIA, SEA, ecology, landscape design and waste capabilities. As a result of continues successes, they are looking to appoint an Air Quality consultant to lead on air quality initiatives in the UK. Your brief will be to manage and provide technical and project guidance and responsibilities to a growing and very busy air quality team. Highly competent levels in communication, report writing skills, experience in project management, organisational and interpersonal skills are essential. You must also be able to demonstrate business development / commercial acumen.

Requirements;

• An established professional with existing client relationships in with public and private providers/groups.
• Client liaison and public exhibition/inquiry experience would be useful. Bidding and marketing would be required.
• Attend client meetings and public exhibitions and inquiries.
• Manage relevant projects or inputs to studies (for example into Environmental Impact Assessments and IPPL applications)

Essential Experience

• Experienced in environmental consultancy.
• Experienced in leading on air quality.
• Air quality monitoring, modelling and reporting.
• Good knowledge of dispersion models.
• knowledge of air quality processes, legislation, techniques.
• Business development / commercial acumen
